Forgive us..

If you've been checking the blog recently you'd realise we've been pretty slack with posts, this is due to the last month or so being our busiest time of year with heaps & heapsthe stock coming in & then going out just as fast. We'll endeavour to keep things a little fresher with more rider updates & photos as well as new product updates. We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers for their support over the last 12 months! We've got some big plans for 2010 so we hope you can come along for the ride!

Zion Summer Range Arrival Imminent

Zion put the Z into winter this year with their amazing breakout range of comfortable, functionall & aesthetically pleasing suits. Ryan "Maddog" Mattick & his team of Zion boffins are set to do it all over again, this time putting the Fever into your summer! Sunshine Coast lensman Ryan Jones has been a busy man of late. With a little help from lmox he's been re building his website & blog. Jake of all trades

If you've seen any top class bodyboarding DVDs recently you'd agree Jake Stone is a reallllly good bodyboarder, if you saw thrash you'd also agree Jake's quite handy on a bit of maple as well. Now thanks to Grow Up he's set to add acting to his repertoire. He's teaming up with tension legend Chris White to put together what's sure to be the biggest release of 2010!

We thought it was about time we gave our loyal Blog readers an update on what's been happening @ Eppo's Bodyboardshop.com!
In good news for the style conscious Churchill Makapuu fins have finally hit the shelves again after an extended shortage. They're available in the classic Blue/Yellow & also now in Black/Lime Green. Equally as anticipated as the Churchills, the MS Vipers landed at Eppo's not too long ago & as expected they've been one of the most sought after items. Numbers are limited & there wont be another shippment arriving for at least a month so be quick! Sharp as a tack

Eppo's Bodyboardshop team rider Cade Sharp has been getting amongst more waves than most of late, from all reports he's been tearing said waves to pieces too! To back up these claims Cade reached the Semi finals in the recent pro tour event in WA, pipped by eventual winner Corey Mcclean. Cade was kind enough to send through some shots from his recent travels.

Joey orme is a long haired, ratty looking kid from Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. Luckily for him we don't put our team together based on looks but talent & he's got bucket loads of it. We're not the only ones willing to over look Joey's not so polished exterior, BZ Pro boards have been backing him for the last 12 months. Zion, you give me fever

Wetsuit Mogil Ryan "Maddog" Mattick graced us with his presence yesterday to give a sneak peak of the new Zion summer range which should be out early November. He also mentioned he was working with Flames Yates (see post below) on a Zion team project DVD entitled Fever Dream The Musical. All we really need to say about this movie is Joe Clarke, Sam Bennett, Jason Finlay, James Kates & Thomas Robinson!!!!! Minds will be blown. As is the style these days there's a blog dedicated to the flick with tonns of really good photography + frame grabs from the action & behind the scenes. Stoked on Flames

We here at Eppo's Bodyboardshop are massive fans of South Coast lad James Kate's work, which is why we were so excited when we heard the multi talented "flames" is about to release his latest piece of work - Evoke The Stoke. This outing sees Flames venture a little further afield than his usual haunts around the South Coast - the movie is based on a team trip he did to Europe & Morocco with fellow stokers Jason Finlay & Jones Russel. Before we're blessed with the stoke the Movie will premiere this Saturday July 25. All the details can be found here @ transitsurf.

Eppo's Bodyboardshop team rider Nick Mcneil recently embarked on a quick little in 'n out mission to the south coast of NSW. He was lucky to meet up with photographer & fellow Sunshine coaster Ryan Jones who had already been down there for a few weeks. They both returned with reports of really fun waves & the had some insane shots to back up their claims. It might be a while until we see the better shots so until then enjoy these shots from the cutting room floor.

Eppo's Bodyboardshop Team rider Nick Mcneil recently jetted over to join good friend and fellow Eppo's team rider Jake Stone in WA. Nick reports that even though it hasn't been pumping the whole time there's still been plenty of fun waves to be had! Just before he left nick secrured backing from The No.6 and says that the boards have been going insane! Jake & Nick also met up with Sunshine Coast photographer Ryan Jones. Nick's due home in a couple of days and intends to head straight back to work as a soil scientist in order to save some $$ for his next adventure. Thanks to Ryan Jones for the great shots.

After all these years still No Friends

Eppo's Bodyboardshop team rider Michael Novy sent through a few shots from of his recent journey through Victoria with fellow Eppo's rider Cade Sharp. The boys were in the garden state for the Australian Tour comp held at 13th beach. Even though waves for the comp didn't reach over 2ft it seems they more than made up for it else where! Keep an eye out for the all new NMD Novy & Pride Cade Sharps coming to Eppo's Bodyboardshop soon!
